Professional storyteller and teacher, Deb Woodard, has been animating stories for over thirty years. She believes in the power of the written word and the ability of books to ignite readers’ imaginations. This principle seeps into Deb’s work; through her books and presentations, she encourages children to read, write, engage their imaginations, and discover their potentials.

Deb is enthusiastic, dynamic, and uses words to paint her stories to readers and listeners. Second-grade student, Jonathon, said, “I could see the pictures in my head. The stories felt real,” (West, Lake Odessa). Her stories and performances are described as powerful, captivating, adorable, and humorous.

Deb’s children’s book, Naughty Pants Believes a Lie, is the first book of a forthcoming five-book series that describes a young rabbit who thinks he has to be naughty to get attention.
